We are proud to announce that we have achieved a GOLD Standard Accreditation from Investors in People (IIP), the organisation which champions people management excellence.

Our journey with Investors in People began in May 2005 with the achievement of the IIP Standard and followed up with the Silver status in June 2011.  In the UK, Investors in People is the most successful framework for business improvement through people.  A Gold Standard Accreditation is the highest level of recognition that organisations can achieve. It is only given to those firms which are able to demonstrate a degree of excellence in the way they develop and support their staff and only 7% of accredited organisations currently hold this prestigious status.

Commenting on the accreditation Catriona Freebairn, Managing Director, who has seen the progression in achievement from the start, said: “We truly believe that our employees are our best asset and this award recognises the way we develop, support and motivate the team.  Achieving Gold status is something we are very proud of – it recognises the opportunities given to the team for their continual development which is key to maintaining the high level of service we strive to give our clients.”

Gary Eves, Manager of the Accounts and Business Tax Team and who is based at the websters’ Kings Lynn office, said: “I am delighted with the IIP award which reflects the fantastic work undertaken by the whole team and highlights that the investment made by the Company in our staff is helping them meet the high standards that we set.”

Andrew Webster, CEO, is also thrilled with the award: “It shows how the websters’ core values are embedded into our business and our commitment to every single member of staff.”

The report stated that: ’the business has a notably open culture distinguished by mutual respect and shared values.  People at all levels are valued and encouraged to both learn and progress.’

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate websters on their Gold standard. Such a high level of accreditation is the sign of great people management practice, and demonstrates a commitment to staff development and shows an organisation committed to being the very best it can be. websters should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
