Charity Armour

On Sunday 28 October Tax Manager Bryony Baines took part in an armoured 10 kilometre charity run in Henley on Thames.  “Team Clank” ran in a mixture of costume and medieval armour.  Running in armour meant that team members were carrying an additional 10kg in weight!  This did not seem to impact the finish times which ranged from 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.  The team had a great time and raised a respectable £1,418 across three charities .  The three charities chosen by the team were:

Help for Heros – this was selected as one of the team is in the armed forces

Camfed – supports education in West Africa – improvement of education improves a wide range of social issues

Terrence Higgins Trust – supports issues the team feels strongly about.
