Websters are delighted and proud to announce our achievement of the Investors in People Gold Standard. We first achieved the standard in May 2005 and were then upgraded to Silver status in June 2011. In the UK IIP is the most successful framework for business improvement through people and Gold is the highest level of recognition which organisations can achieve. It is only given to those firms who are able to demonstrate a degree of excellence in the way they develop and support their staff and only 7% of accredited organisations currently hold Gold status.

Commenting on the award Catriona Freebairn, Managing Director, who has seen the progression in achievement through each of our assessments, said “We truly believe that our employees are our best asset and this award recognises the way we develop, support and motivate the team. Achieving Gold status is something we are very proud of – it recognises the opportunities given to the team for their continual development, which is key to maintaining the high level of service we strive to give our clients. ”

Garys Eves, Manager of the Accounts and Business Tax Team said “I am delighted with the IIP award, which reflects the fantastic work undertaken by all and highlights that the investment made in our staff is helping them meet the high standards that we set.”

The report stated that “the business has a notably open culture distinguished by mutual respect and shared values. People at all levels are valued and encouraged to both learn and progress.” Well done to all the team!.’
