Corporate reorganisation

Chris was one of three brothers who were in dispute about the family business. The stumbling block to a simple split of the business was the ownership of land which at some point in the future might have significant development value. Over a period of weeks we negotiated a settlement despite the personal aspects of the dispute – allowing the corporate structure to be re-organised to separate out the land into a separate business – and then via a S110 reorganisation into a separate company.
The particular pleasure was that over the years the healing of the business rift allowed them to move to a better family relationship.
