legal services

Our legal team includes Solicitor, Liz Hooley, who gives general legal advice as well as wills and inheritence tax advice. On the company secretarial side we have Chartered Secretary Trina Hill. What makes us different is that our legal services are an integral part of our tax and accounting service to clients.

You deal with the same small team to gain a comprehensive service. In particularly this gives you a highly cost effective service when dealing with transactions where the value of the deal does not justify tens of thousands spent on legal fees.

In most commercial deals the tax considerations affect the subtleties of the corporate structures. Our experience is that unless care is taken, some of this subtlety can be lost if the work is handed over from a firm of tax advisers to a firm of solicitors. We work in two ways: on smaller deals we would handle all the legal work ourselves and on larger deals we coordinate transactions bringing input from the solicitors for both parties to ensure that the deal progresses quickly to a conclusion.
