We have built a clever database which links together all the SQL databases we use in the office. When linked to a SharePoint portal this allows exciting functionality bringing together information which is stored in different systems.

Wouldn't it be great to get an email to remind you of important information? As long as data is stored in a SQL database then you can generate any reminder. You can attach reports and you can set up cascades so that if an email is not actioned then a later reminder is sent to a supervisor.
